The TV anime Muzujikaku Seijo wa Kyou mo Muishiki ni Chikara wo Tarenagasu has released its third promotional video along with official details on its opening and ending theme songs.
Story and Third PV Highlights
The series follows Carolina, a young woman dismissed as a failure, who is arranged into a political marriage with Edward, a prince from a neighboring empire rumored to be barbaric. The union becomes a turning point that helps Carolina rediscover her own worth. The third PV opens with Carolina’s inner turmoil after a lifetime of being belittled, then shows her fate shifting after the marriage — including glimpses of her older sister Flora, whose obsessive fixation on Carolina becomes a key element of the story.
Theme Songs
The opening theme is “Windmaker” performed by Hana-ya, while the ending theme is “Unknown Me” (アンノウンミー) performed by Utahime Dream All Stars. Portions of both tracks can be heard in the third PV.
Artist Comments
Hana-ya — Opening Theme “Windmaker”
“I was moved by how Carolina gradually reaches happiness even while struggling to accept herself, finding love and kindness along the way. I hope ‘Windmaker’ can color the world of this story and gently push viewers forward. I’ll sing it with care so it can reach as many people as possible alongside the anime.”
Utahime Dream All Stars — Ending Theme “Unknown Me”
Members of Utahime Dream All Stars shared their thoughts on the series and the song:
- Yamazaki Rena (as Yumesaki Ibuki) described the song as a melancholic ballad that instantly conjures vivid imagery, and said she is honored to perform it as part of Utahime Dream All Stars.
- Suzuki Anna (as Sakuraki Maika) called “Unknown Me” a grand yet bittersweet track that perfectly fits the world of the story, noting it represents a new musical direction for the group.
- Sonohara Arisa (as Mashiro Kiyomi) said she felt Carolina’s lack of self-confidence and loneliness are feelings anyone can relate to, and hopes the song conveys a new side of Utahime Dream.
- Hana-ya (as HiREN) noted that “Unknown Me” is unusually introspective for an Utahime Dream All Stars track, and hopes it encourages listeners who are anxious about an uncertain future.
- Isobe Karin (as Mizuki Hikari) said she finds Carolina utterly endearing and described the song as a graceful blend of sparkle and sentimentality.
- Sumi Tomomi Jena (as Takagi Rin) said the song carries a resolve to go out and claim one’s own happiness despite anxiety and inner conflict.
- Kurachi Reiho (as Hagiwara Himawari) highlighted that this is the first original ballad for Utahime Dream All Stars and looks forward to showing fans a new dimension of the group.
- Takeuchi Yume (as SAKURAKO) described the song as one that battles the negative emotions hidden inside, and encouraged fans to memorize the lyrics and sing along every episode.
