Volume 1 of Tsuhan de Katta Yōtō ga Gachi Datta — the manga adaptation of Hinokage Sora‘s light novel — went on sale on June 25 via publisher Ichijinsha. The manga is drawn by Shinme Futatsu.
Synopsis
College student Miyamoto Sōji accidentally orders what he thinks is a replica sword through an online shopping site. When the package arrives and he gives it a casual test swing, the blade tears through space itself and hurls him into another world.
He lands right in the middle of a hero-summoning ritual, and the locals immediately mistake him for the legendary hero they called forth. When Princess Erika discovers he is no hero at all, she threatens him with execution if the truth comes out — leaving Sōji with no choice but to keep up the act.
Forced to set out and defeat the Demon Lord despite being a complete fraud, Sōji must rely on the power of a samurai spirit dwelling within the cursed blade to survive each crisis that comes his way.
