Great news for fans of the action-comedy series: the production of Kill Blue Season 2 has been officially confirmed. The announcement was made on June 27, the same day the Season 1 finale aired, and was accompanied by a newly drawn illustration from original manga creator Fujimaki Tadatoshi.
The illustration depicts protagonist Juusan firing a gun with one hand while holding a textbook in the other — a perfect encapsulation of the series’ blend of action and school-life comedy. The words “Season 2 Production Confirmed!!” appear prominently alongside the artwork.
Comment from Fujimaki Tadatoshi
“Thanks to everyone’s support, Season 2 is happening! Thank you to everyone involved in the anime, and thank you to all the fans who cheered us on. We don’t yet know the specific timing or content, but I hope it will be a fun, easygoing Kill Blue that you can enjoy with your shoulders relaxed — just like Season 1. Please look forward to it, without any pressure!”
