Bandai Namco Entertainment America has released a teaser trailer announcing a brand-new project titled Tekken! Cartoon. The company says further details will be shared at a later date.
What the Teaser Shows
The trailer features characters from the beloved Tekken game series rendered in a superdeformed (SD) art style, giving the iconic fighters a chibi-cartoon look. The teaser also includes live-action footage of cast member Tsubasa Tobinaga.

Tekken’s Anime and Gaming History
The franchise previously ventured into animation with Tekken: Bloodline, a Netflix anime series based on the storyline of Tekken 3, which premiered in August 2022.
On the gaming side, Tekken 8 launched in January 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Its story picks up approximately six months after the events of Tekken 7. The Tekken franchise holds a Guinness World Record for the longest-running narrative in video game history.
