U-Treasure has opened pre-orders for a new line of Nintama Rantaro (忍たま乱太郎) ring necklaces through its online shop and Concept Store locations in Ikebukuro and Shinsaibashi. Orders are being accepted until July 21.
About Nintama Rantaro
Based on the ninja comedy manga by Amako Sobee, Nintama Rantaro follows the comedic daily lives of first-year ninja students Rantaro, Shinbe, and Kirimaru as they strive to become full-fledged ninjas at their ninjutsu academy. The TV anime has been on the air since 1993 and has built a devoted fanbase across generations.
Most recently, the theatrical film Gekijouban Nintama Rantaro: Dokutake Ninja-tai Saikyou no Gunshi opened on December 20, 2024, adapting the popular novel of the same name. The story begins when Doi-sensei sets off to duel Tasogaretoki ninja Moroizumi Takanamon and subsequently goes missing, kicking off a more serious and dramatic adventure than the TV series’ usual fare.
Product Highlights
Each ring necklace features the name and motif of one of 28 characters engraved on the ring top, while the band itself is decorated with a randomly patterned shuriken design running all the way around — keeping the look clean and wearable for everyday use.
A standout design detail: when two rings are placed side by side, the shuriken patterns on both bands align to form a single, larger shuriken. The necklaces are sold individually.
The ring top is also detachable from the chain, allowing it to be layered with other pendants.
