Bandai Namco Filmworks unveiled the first full trailer, debut key visual, and story details for the fifth installment of the six-part Girls und Panzer das Finale film series on Sunday.

Story

The fifth film picks up after Ooarai Girls High School survives a grueling semi-final at the Winter Continuous Track Cup and advances to the championship round. There, they will face St. Gloriana Girls’ College, commanded by Darjeeling. Among St. Gloriana’s ranks is Alice, a transfer student who specifically chose the school so she could face Miho once more.

Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu! Heads to TV

The franchise also announced that the four-part theatrical anime project adapting Maruko Nii‘s spinoff manga Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu! will begin airing on Japanese television in October on Tokyo MX, BS NTV, Tulip TV, and Shikoku Broadcasting.

The four films opened theatrically on December 26, January 30, March 6, and April 10, respectively. The series follows the little-known daily lives of the Ooarai Girls Team and fellow students. Nii launched the manga in 2013 in Kadokawa’s (formerly Media Factory’s) Monthly Comic Alive.

The fourth film in the series also included a pilot video based on Girls und Panzer: Ribon no Musha, the manga by Takeshi Nogami and Takaaki Suzuki.
