The production team behind the TV anime Kabushiki Gaisha Magilumiére (株式会社マジルミエ) has released the synopsis and advance scene cuts for Season 2, Episode 1. The series is based on the manga by Yukika Iwata and Yu Aoki, published by Shueisha under the Jump Comics label.
Episode 1: “One Splendid Profession That Everyone Admires”
The opening episode, titled 「誰もが憧れる立派なひとつの職業」, is set to air on Saturday, July 4, 2026. At an industry conference on policy for dealing with supernatural anomalies known as “Kaii,” Shigemoto pitches Magilumiére’s new Alice System — only to have it shot down for lacking a proven track record.
Determined to demonstrate the company’s capabilities, Shigemoto takes matters into his own hands and secures a new contract. But the job turns out to be as dangerous as it is promising, entangled in the power dynamics and hidden agendas of the industry.
Meanwhile, Koshikaya receives a mission-related proposal from a mysterious individual — one that carries deeply unsettling implications for her relationship with her father. Torn between duty and conviction, the team presses forward into an unknown threat, each member carrying their own burden.
