The official website for DIGIMON BEATBREAK, the latest television anime in the long-running Digimon franchise, announced on Sunday that the series will kick off a new story arc — the “Kyō Arc” — with its 38th episode on July 12. The announcement came alongside a new key visual and the reveal of an additional cast member.
New Cast Member
Voice actor Shinichirō Miki joins the series as Sōji Kuroshio, a former member of the Five Elements Star who has lost all emotion and harbors an unexplained obsession with Kyo Sawashiro.
Story Synopsis
“e-Pulse” — energy generated by human thoughts and emotions — powers an AI support device known as the “Sapotama.” But lurking in the shadows of this technological marvel are terrifying monsters: Digimon, living beings that evolve by consuming e-Pulse.
Tomoro Tenma is pulled into an extraordinary adventure after Gekkomon suddenly emerges from his Sapotama. Joining the bounty-hunting team “Glowing Dawn” alongside Kyo Sawashiro and others, Tomoro finds renewed purpose. What kind of future will humans and Digimon build together?
