The original animated film Chou Kaguya-hime! (超かぐや姫！) has unveiled its official full trailer for the upcoming special-format screenings. Alongside the trailer, organizers announced that a new set of pre-sale movie ticket cards (ムビチケカード型前売り券) — three designs in total — will go on sale from August 7 at participating theaters, the MAJOR online retail site, and MOVIE WALKER STORE.
Three New Ticket Card Designs with Exclusive Artwork
Each of the three card designs features newly drawn (描き下ろし) artwork of one of the film’s main characters: Kaguya, Sakayori Ayaha, and Tsukimi Yachiyo. All three are depicted in Japanese-style “Fanatic Omatsuri Girl” costumes. Notably, when the three cards are placed side by side, they form a single unified group visual.
Purchase Bonuses and Digital Tickets
- Each ticket card purchase comes with a corresponding A4-size solo visual clear poster matching the character on that card.
- MOVIE WALKER STORE will also offer an online pre-sale ticket bundled with a digital movie ticket card (ムビチケデジタルカード) featuring the group visual, also launching on August 7.
Opening September 18 in Standard and Special Formats
Chou Kaguya-hime! is set to open on September 18 in its standard version, as well as in MX4D, 4DX, SCREENX, ULTRA 4DX, and Dolby Atmos formats.
The organizers also announced a pricing change for the film’s revival screenings: the previously offered special admission prices and pair discounts have been abolished, and ticket prices will now follow the standard rates set by each individual theater.
