About the Series
KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! is a spinoff of the hit isekai comedy KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!, itself adapted from the light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki with illustrations by Kurone Mishima, published under Kadokawa’s Sneaker Bunko imprint. The original series has been adapted into both a TV anime and a theatrical film.
The spinoff centers on Megumin — the Arch Wizard who refuses to use any magic other than Explosion — during her days at the Red Prison magic academy in the Crimson Demon Village, long before she ever met Kazuma and the gang. The story follows her solitary, single-minded pursuit of mastering Explosion Magic in order to catch up to someone she has admired since childhood, even as those around her dismiss it as a joke spell.
Moonnight Concept Figure
The figure faithfully recreates the Moonnight illustration in three dimensions. Megumin is dressed in a deep burgundy camisole dress layered with a soft, sheer pink cardigan — a look that feels more mature and romantic than her usual appearance. She holds her cat Chomusuke close as moonlight wraps around her, capturing a quiet, warm “night under the moon” atmosphere down to the finest detail.
