A collaboration café between the anime film Cho Kaguya-hime! (超かぐや姫!) and art-space operator and GALLERY is set to open on August 1, 2026, running simultaneously in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sendai. The event is themed around a summer festival, with character-inspired food, drinks, and exclusive merchandise on offer throughout the run.
About Cho Kaguya-hime!
Cho Kaguya-hime! is the feature-film directorial debut of animation creator Yamashita Seigo, best known for directing the opening sequences of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 and Chainsaw Man. Billed as a “Music Animation Project,” the film features original songs by a roster of prominent Vocaloid producers: ryo (supercell), kz (livetune), 40mP, HoneyWorks, Aqu3ra, and yuigot.
The film began streaming exclusively worldwide on Netflix on January 22, 2026, followed by a theatrical release on February 20, 2026. Originally planned for a one-week theatrical run, strong demand from fans and cinemas prompted an extension, with a special-format screening and standard re-release confirmed for September 18.
The main voice cast includes Natsuyoshi Yuko as Kaguya, Nagase Anna as Sakayori Ayaha, and Hayami Saori as Tsukimi Yachiyo — the latter also performing the main theme “Ex-Otogibanashi.”
