The upcoming film Chiikawa Movie: Ningyo no Shima no Himitsu (Chiikawa Movie: Secret of the Mermaid Island), based on the original work by Nagano, has announced a collaboration with popular accessories brand CASETiFY. The joint collection goes on sale on July 24.
What’s in the Collection
The collaboration features three types of items:
- Smartphone cases
- Card holder stands
- Grip stands
Each item is designed with either the film’s key visual or its teaser visual, giving fans a choice of artwork to show off.
Where and When to Buy
The CASETiFY official online store will open sales at 11:00 a.m. on July 24, while physical retail locations will begin selling from each store’s opening time on the same day.
About the Film
The movie adapts the fan-favorite long-form arc known as the “Siren Arc” — one of the most celebrated storylines in the original series — under the complete supervision of creator Nagano.
The story follows Chiikawa and friends as they are invited to an island and given a warm welcome. Just as they settle in to enjoy their trip, however, they are asked by the islanders to help defeat a Siren that has been terrorizing the community, setting the adventure in motion.
The film opens in theaters on July 24.
