MEGAPHONE PARADE: A Near-Future Under AI Rule
The flagship new series is MEGAPHONE PARADE by Umeji, the creator of Akuma wa Yurikago wo Utau. The story is set in the year 2597, a world where AI and beings known as “Sub-Humans” have risen to dominance over human society. The protagonist, Kai, runs an antique shop and secretly works to protect people who are on the verge of being “eliminated” by AI for various reasons. The debut chapter is an impressive 100 pages long.

Takaguchi Risumi Returns to ASUKA After Nearly 30 Years
The issue also features a special treat for longtime readers: Takaguchi Risumi, the legendary creator of Hana no Asuka-gumi!, makes her return to the pages of ASUKA for the first time in nearly 30 years with a promotional manga strip for her upcoming work, Diamond Blues: Tsukushi Konan to Shichinin no Ojisan.
