The TV anime 「二十世紀電氣目録 -ユーレカ・エヴリカ-」 (Nijuseiki Denki Mokuroku -Eureka Evrika-) has released its first story visual, along with the announcement of two guest cast members for Episode 4.
First Story Visual: Pop Colors with an American Comic Flair
The first story visual is composed of advance scene cuts from upcoming episodes. It features a vibrant, pop art palette reminiscent of American comics, showcasing the comical expressions of main characters Sakamoto Kihachi and Momokawa Inako.
Episode 4: Trouble at the Nishijin Silk Shop
Episode 4 airs and streams on July 26. The episode follows Kihachi and his companions as they attempt to resolve a problem at Nishikiya, a long-established Nishijin weaving shop, by bringing a new invention to life.
Guest starring in the episode are Tamagawa Sakiko as Ibata Chiyo and Miyazaki Yu as Ibata Akira.

I tend to struggle reading between the lines, so I was truly grateful that the visuals were so beautifully finished by the time we recorded — the setting, the era, and the bittersweet emotions hidden in the script all came through clearly on screen. I could also feel the passion that the staff and fellow cast members have for this work. It really makes me happy to encounter something crafted with such care. Please enjoy the human frailty and warmth that this world has to offer.
Miyazaki Yu (as Ibata Akira)
I was given a wonderful and deeply rewarding role. When I first received it, I thought, “Oh no… this is going to be tough,” but the parts I expected to be difficult turned out to be different from what actually challenged me during recording (laughs). I hope viewers can feel the irreplaceable emotions buried deep within this character. The world of this anime feels rooted in a bygone era yet somehow fresh and exciting — I was genuinely overwhelmed during recording. Please enjoy it!
