Fans of Disney Twisted-Wonderland have a new reason to celebrate: Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation ～Episode of Savanaclaw～ has been officially announced for an exclusive streaming debut on Disney+ starting December 2026. The announcement arrived alongside a teaser visual and comments from the three main voice cast members.
About Disney Twisted-Wonderland
Disney Twisted-Wonderland is a school adventure game inspired by the villains of Disney’s classic works. The game’s original concept, main scenario, and character designs were all crafted by Yana Toboso, the manga artist best known for Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji). Its blend of iconic Disney villainy with a richly built magical academy setting has earned it a devoted global fanbase.
The anime adaptation began with Episode of Heartslabyul, which launched in October 2025 and has already earned a nomination for Best Isekai Anime at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026 — one of the world’s largest anime celebrations, decided by fan votes worldwide.
Announced on Leona’s Birthday
The reveal was timed to coincide with July 27, the in-game birthday of Leona Kingscholar, the dormitory head of Savanaclaw. The teaser visual centers on Leona seated regally on a throne bathed in an eerie green light, flanked by a slyly grinning Ruggie Bucchi and a sharp-eyed Jack Howl. Swirling golden magic and the silhouette of a lion-like king loom against a stone-wall backdrop, accompanied by the tagline: “The scheming begins.”
