The TV anime Magical★Explorer has been officially confirmed to premiere in October 2026. Alongside the announcement, the production team released the series’ first promotional video (PV) and first key visual.
First PV: Heroines’ Voices Revealed for the First Time
The debut PV marks the first time audiences can hear the voices of the three main heroines in the anime: Kakuma Ai as Rudy, Onishi Saori as Mizumori Yukine, and M·A·O as Nanami. The first key visual, meanwhile, showcases Kosuke, Rudy, Yukine, and Nanami in dynamic, energetic poses.
Story
Magical★Explorer is based on the light novel by Irisu, published under Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko (KADOKAWA), with the full title Magical★Explorer: Eroge no Yuujin Chara ni Tensei Shitakedo, Game Chishiki Tsukatte Jiyuu ni Ikiru. The story follows a protagonist who is reincarnated as Takinone Kosuke — an overlooked friend character from a legendary bishoujo game. Armed with his knowledge of the game’s story, he sets out to guide every heroine toward a happy ending in this “reincarnation magic academy” tale.
