The science-fiction action webtoon Nano List, created by Song-A Min, is getting its first animated adaptation. The series is scheduled to premiere on TVING, a South Korean streaming platform, on August 17.
Story
Set in a world where living alongside androids is completely ordinary, the story centers on high school student Do-jin Ahn (known as Milo), who finds himself sharing his home with two androids built by his late sister — including Nano, a powerful android assassin left behind as his personal bodyguard. Just how safe is life with androids of deadly strength, and why did his sister leave them to him in the first place? He’s about to find out the hard way.
A New Direction for Studio Gale
The animated adaptation is produced by Korea-based Studio Gale, widely recognized for family animation titles such as Pororo the Little Penguin and Tayo the Little Bus. Nano List marks the studio’s first foray into the sci-fi action genre.
The original webtoon earned an impressive user rating of 9.98 out of 10 during its run, reflecting a devoted fanbase. English-language readers can follow the webtoon on the WEBTOON platform.
