The manga adaptation Akuyaku Reijou Katrina no Danzai Bigaku (悪役令嬢カトリーナの断罪美学) launched its first volume today, August 7, from Bushiroad Comics. The series is drawn by Narano and based on the original novel by Nagatsuki Oto.
Story
The protagonist suddenly realizes she has been reincarnated as Katrina, the villainess of an otome game — a role that typically ends in condemnation and disgrace. For most people, that would be a terrible fate. But the protagonist is a hardcore fan of the game, and she is absolutely thrilled: being the villainess means she gets a front-row seat to the breathtaking “condemnation still” featuring the dashing Prince Cain.
Determined not to miss that iconic CG scene, Katrina commits fully to playing her role as the proper game villainess, carefully keeping her actions in line with the original story. After all, if the plot goes off-script, her dream still might never appear.
