The official website for the second season of the With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess (Kizu Darake Seijo Yori Hōfuku wo Komete) light anime began streaming the series’ second teaser promotional video on Monday. The anime is based on the vertical-scrolling webtoon by SORAJIMA and Aminohada.
Premiere Dates and Broadcast
Season 2 is set to premiere on October 1 on TV Kanagawa (tvk) at 24:00 JST (effectively midnight on October 2), followed by CBC TV on October 2 at 26:59 JST (effectively 2:59 a.m. on October 3). The first season aired in July 2025 on the same channels and also streamed on various services in Japan.
Staff
The season is produced at IMAGICA Infos / Imageworks Studio. Saya Fukase (Hyakki Yakou Shou, I Want You To Show Me Your Panties With a Disgusted Face Returns) takes over as director, replacing first-season director Chisaki. Returning staff members include:

Story
Rua is a saintess candidate with the power of healing — but with a painful catch: she can only heal others by transferring their wounds onto herself. Mocked as the “Fallen Saintess,” she endures it all thanks to her best friend Arianne, who always defends her.
Everything changes when Rua’s crush, Commander Garrett, is nearly killed in a beast attack. Rua heals him at the cost of her own life, only to wake up and discover that Arianne has taken all the credit — revealing her true nature. Broken and adrift, Rua is approached by the second prince with a tempting proposition, setting her on a new path as a villainess.
About the Source Webtoon
The original webtoon runs on comico in Japan, launching in August 2022, with an English release following in October 2022. The main story concluded in June 2025, after which side-story chapters were released — though an indefinite hiatus was announced in October of last year. The English edition is currently distributed by Tappytoon.
About Light Anime
