The TV anime Game Sekai Tensei 〈Dan-Katsu〉 ~A Gamer Plays [Dungeon Shuukatsu no Susume] from the Beginning~ has officially announced a January 2027 broadcast premiere. Alongside the announcement, the production revealed cast details, key staff, a teaser visual, and the first teaser PV.
Story Overview
Based on the light novel by Nishikigi Kaede (published by TO Books), the series follows a hardcore gamer who has logged over 8,000 hours in his beloved RPG “Dan-Katsu,” only to be reincarnated into that very game world as its protagonist, Zephyrus. The story unfolds as a dungeon-crawling fantasy full of surprises that even exceed the player’s encyclopedic knowledge of the game.
