Three leading characters from TV anime Nihon Sankoku (日本三國) — Mitsuuma Aoki, Asama Yoshitsune, and Kaku Yasuaki — are set to appear in a new online lottery hosted by Kuji Hikido (くじ引き堂). The event features brand-new illustrations depicting the trio in relaxed kazunagashi-style kimono, showcasing a calm, refined side of the characters that fans have yet to see.
About Nihon Sankoku
Nihon Sankoku is based on the manga by Matsuki Ikka, serialized on Shogakukan’s Manga ONE app and the Ura Sunday website. Set in a near-future Japan where civilization has collapsed in the wake of nuclear war, natural disasters, and corrupt governance, the country has fractured into three rival kingdoms. Amid this turmoil, Mitsuuma Aoki — once an unremarkable local official — rises to power through knowledge and sharp rhetoric, driven by his ambition to reunify Japan.
The TV anime adaptation began airing in April 2026, with a cast that includes Ono Kensho as Mitsuuma Aoki, Fukuyama Jun as the self-assured martial artist Asama Yoshitsune, Nakamura Yuichi as the cunning strategist Kaku Yasuaki, and Seto Asami as Aoki’s wife Higashimachi Konori. Animation production is handled by Studio Kafka.

The TV Anime Nihon Sankoku Online Kuji on Kuji Hikido runs from August 20, 2026 at 12:00 PM to September 17, 2026 at 11:59 AM (JST). Each draw costs ¥770 (tax included). Purchasing a set of 10 draws at once comes with one random Mini Bromide (1 of 3 designs) as a bonus.
