KADOKAWA Animation has announced the Gekijouban Silent Möbius Anniversary Premium Box, a Blu-ray BOX set celebrating the 40th anniversary of creator Kia Asamiya’s artistic career. The set is scheduled for release on December 25, 2026.
First Domestic Blu-ray for Both Films
The box set includes two theatrical anime films: the 1991 film Gekijouban Silent Möbius and the 1992 sequel Gekijouban Silent Möbius 2. This marks the first time either film has been released on Blu-ray in Japan.
Box Contents and Bonuses
The premium box comes with several exclusive items:
- A newly drawn illustration by Kia Asamiya, reproduced as a framed facsimile print
- A three-sided slipcase (三方背BOX) featuring the same illustration
- A special leaflet
The set is priced at ¥24,200 (tax included).
