A brand-new stage musical series, Ensemble Stars!! THE STAGE, has officially launched as a separate entry from the existing Ensemble Stars! THE STAGE series. The new production will adapt the story of Ensemble Stars!! with an entirely fresh cast.
A New World: From Yumenosaki to Ensemble Square
While the original Ensemble Stars! stage series followed young idols at the prestigious Yumenosaki Private Academy, the new Ensemble Stars!! series shifts the setting to Ensemble Square, where idols belonging to four different agencies come together in a story set slightly further into the future.
Cast Announced for ALKALOID and Crazy:B
The first unit, ALKALOID — described as an edgy music-oriented unit — will be portrayed by the following cast:
- Amagi Itsuki — played by Imaki Teru
- Shiratori Aira — played by Shintani Seiji
- Rese Mayoi — played by Iwasaki Yuga
- Kazehaya Tatsumi — played by Okajima Mototake
The second unit, Crazy:B — an emotional party unit — features the following cast:
- Amagi Rinne — played by Kaneko Hayata
- HiMERU — played by Imai Shunto
- Sakurakawa Kohaku — played by Mochida Yuki
- Shiina Niki — played by Akashi Yusei
Comments from the Cast
Imaki Teru, who will play ALKALOID’s Amagi Itsuki, shared his excitement:
“I feel truly honoured to be joining the long, long history of Anste. I will study and research alongside Itsuki, and I promise to deliver the coolest idol performance possible. I’m so looking forward to standing on that stage as Amagi Itsuki!”
Kaneko Hayata, cast as Crazy:B’s Amagi Rinne, commented:
“Carrying in my heart the feelings that so many seniors have woven together over the years, I will work wholeheartedly alongside my fellow members to deliver a wonderful production to everyone who is looking forward to the show.”
Debut Showcase Set for December 2026
