The TV anime Thunder 3 has unveiled its latest promotional video, titled the “Shibuya Guerrilla Battle PV,” giving fans a thrilling look at the members of Rebellion — a group dedicated to wiping out the alien forces that have invaded Japan — as they activate their special abilities under desperate circumstances. Just when things look bleakest, a new figure appears on the scene.
From Viral Manga to the Small Screen
Thunder 3, created by Yuki Ikeda, began serialization in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine in 2022 and quickly became a social media sensation for its gripping story and impressive artwork, earning a nomination for the Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō 2022 award in record time. The TV anime adaptation launched on July 8, 2026, airing on Fuji TV’s “+Ultra” block.
Episode 7 “COUNTERATTACK” — Rebellion Strikes Back
Episode 7, subtitled “COUNTERATTACK,” airs on August 19 and marks a pivotal turning point as Rebellion members led by Seno finally go on the offensive. The new PV shows the group pushed to their limits before managing to hold on — only to face an even greater crisis. Fans are also watching closely to see what Small 3, who has made contact with Rebellion, is planning next.
