The production team has unveiled a new concept visual for Haikyuu!! The Movie: VS Chiisana Kyojin (劇場版ハイキュー!! VS 小さな巨人), based on the original manga by Haruichi Furudate. Alongside it, a teaser visual, school visual, and action PV for the special anime Haikyuu!! Bakemono-tachi no Yukutokoro (ハイキュー!! バケモノたちの行くところ) have also been released.
Hinata vs. Hoshiumi at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium
The concept visual for VS Chiisana Kyojin depicts Shoyo Hinata and Korai Hoshiumi facing off on the court of Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium — the venue for their quarterfinal clash at the Spring High Volleyball tournament. The image captures the electric tension between the two players ahead of their highly anticipated showdown.
Fukurodani vs. Mujinazaka in the Action PV
For Bakemono-tachi no Yukutokoro, the newly released teaser visual features Kotaro Bokuto and Ya Kiryu exchanging thunderous spikes. The action PV goes further, showcasing the full rosters of Fukurodani Academy — led by Bokuto — and Mujinazaka High School — led by Kiryu — in an intense, high-energy clash between the two powerhouse schools.
Both Titles Scheduled for 2027
Both Haikyuu!! The Movie: VS Chiisana Kyojin and Haikyuu!! Bakemono-tachi no Yukutokoro are slated for release in 2027, giving fans two major Haikyuu!! projects to look forward to in the same year.
Collaboration with SV.LEAGUE ALL STAR GAMES 2026-27
A collaboration event between the Haikyuu!! anime and the Emutto presents SV.LEAGUE ALL STAR GAMES 2026-27 HOKKAIDO has also been announced, scheduled for January 30, 2027. Voice actor Ayumu Murase, who plays Shoyo Hinata, is confirmed to appear at the event.
Planned activities include:
- Broadcast of newly recorded character voice lines
- Character photo spots for fans
- Mascot costume (着ぐるみ) greeting sessions
