An online advance Movic Ticket (MovieTicket) bundled with a secret bromide card has been announced for Armored Trooper VOTOMS: Grey Witch (装甲騎兵ボトムズ 灰色の魔女) Part 1, which opens in Japanese cinemas on November 20. Sales begin on Friday, August 21 at 10:00 a.m. JST.
About the Film
Grey Witch is a brand-new entry in the long-running Armored Trooper VOTOMS franchise, produced to mark Sunrise’s 50th anniversary. Set near the end of a century-long war, the story follows soldiers treated as expendable as they pilot humanoid weapons known as AT (Armored Troopers) — most notably the iconic Scopedog. At the center of the narrative are Ash, a soldier so fearsome on the battlefield that fellow troops call him “the Witch,” and Maki, a woman dispatched on a covert mission to uncover the truth behind him. Director Mamoru Oshii brings their collision to life amid brutal frontline combat.

The Secret Bromide Ticket
The ticket comes with one bromide card chosen from 14 different designs, all featuring in-film scene stills overlaid with the official logo. Every single design is a secret — buyers will not know which card they receive in advance. Some designs even use visuals that have not been publicly revealed yet, making this a must-have for collectors.
How It Works
After purchase, buyers will receive their MovieTicket information (purchase number and PIN) by email, which can then be used to reserve seats at any compatible cinema nationwide — exactly like a standard MovieTicket. A content code for printing the bromide card at multi-copy machines installed in FamilyMart, Lawson, and Ministop convenience stores across Japan (select locations) will be delivered in the same email.
