The TV anime adaptation of Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru! — based on the manga by Muchimaro, serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine — is set to premiere on October 3, 2026 at 24:30 on TOKYO MX and other stations. Ahead of the launch, the production has released the first main promotional video alongside the official opening theme announcement.
Opening Theme
The opening theme is titled “Kaze no Naka wa Hashirukkinai!” (風の中は走るっきゃないっ！), performed by Sangatsu no Phantasia. Lyrics are co-written by Noko and Sangatsu no Phantasia vocalist Mia, with Noko handling composition solo. A portion of the track can be heard in the newly released main PV.

“Kaze no Naka wa Hashirukkinai!” is an upbeat track brimming with the spirit of youth — the kind of song that makes you want to break into a run. Watching the anime, I felt that the student council members and other lively characters all carry a certain difficulty in navigating the world: struggling to express their feelings, having tender and sensitive hearts. The song captures that frustration and bittersweetness while pushing forward with a positive, full-throttle spirit. I hope everyone will love it alongside the anime. Komaro is so cute!

Every day is a string of trivial things and small incidents that fly by before you know it. I wrote this song with the feeling of sprinting through that slightly strange, lovable everyday life at full speed. On days when nothing goes right, I want people to listen to it with the attitude of “guess I’ve just gotta run!” It’s a great song.
Synopsis
The story follows Mizunoe Ume, a girl who joins the student council to boost her school record, only to find herself surrounded by an eccentric and unpredictable group of fellow members. The series depicts the chaotic, comedic daily life that unfolds between them.
