The official website for the third television anime season of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You (Kimi no Koto ga Dai Dai Dai Dai Daisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo) announced on Sunday that voice actress Yumika Yano has joined the cast as Kishika Torotoro, a third-year high school student who serves as captain of the girls’ kendō club and becomes Rentarō’s latest girlfriend. The character made her debut in the ninth episode of the season, which aired the same day.
Story
Based on the manga by Rikito Nakamura and Yukiko Nozawa, the series follows Aijo Rentarō, a boy who has been rejected by every girl he has ever asked out. After praying for help, he is told by a god that his string of rejections was the result of a cosmic error — and as compensation, 100 girls are now fated to be his soulmates. The catch: if he fails to return any one of their feelings, she will die in a terrible accident. As confessions come pouring in from every direction, Rentarō must figure out how to love them all in this wildly over-the-top romantic comedy. The manga’s English edition is published by Seven Seas Entertainment.

The core production team from the first two seasons returns in full. Hikaru Sato (Drop Kick on my Devil!) is back in the director’s chair at Bibury Animation Studio, with Takashi Aoshima (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) handling series scripts and Akane Yano (Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki) continuing as character designer. Music is composed by Shūhei Mutsuki, Shunsuke Takizawa (Trytonelabo), and eba under the Lantis label.
The opening theme is “Daisuki♡Zutto Eien ni♡” (I Love You♡Always and Forever♡), performed by The Rentarō Family.
Broadcast
The season premiered on Tokyo MX on July 5 at 10:30 p.m. JST and also airs on Sun TV and BS11.
