Fans of Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (The Apothecary Diaries) have reason to celebrate: the limited-time pop-up event 「TVアニメ『薬屋のひとりごと』遊宴日和」 has been confirmed for Osaka, running at eStadium Namba Honten (1F, Namba Parks) from Sunday, September 6, 2026.
About the Series
Kusuriya no Hitorigoto is a hugely popular imperial-court mystery series with cumulative sales exceeding 45 million copies across all formats. The story follows Maomao, a young woman serving as a food taster in the imperial palace, as she unravels a series of baffling cases. The TV anime’s first season aired from October 2023 to March 2024, followed by a second season from January to July 2025 — both consistently topping streaming charts. Season 3 is set to premiere on October 2, and the theatrical film 「劇場版 薬屋のひとりごと 亡妃の秘宝」 will open on December 11.

The event will sell a wide range of original merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations of Maomao, Jinshi (壬氏), Xiaolan (小蘭), and Zisui (子翠). Customers who spend 3,000 yen (tax included) or more per purchase will receive one original postcard (randomly selected from 8 designs).

Starting with the Osaka venue, a new item will go on sale: Glitter Acrylic Coasters featuring newly drawn mini-character art, available in a full set of 8 designs at 2,420 yen (tax included) each.
Special Game: “Love-Potion Mixing Ceremony for Lord Jinshi”
A highlight of the Osaka event is the special roulette-style game 「壬氏さまへの献上 媚薬調合の儀」, where participants try their hand at mixing a love potion. Every spin is a winner — prizes include:

Photo Spots
