The TV anime Black Clover 2nd Season, based on the manga by Yūki Tabata, has officially confirmed its premiere date: Saturday, October 3, 2026, airing on TV Tokyo affiliates every Saturday at 23:00. BS TV Tokyo will carry the series every Wednesday at 24:00 starting October 7, 2026.
Ending Theme: “Yellow Brick Road” by ONE OR EIGHT
The ending theme for the new season is titled “Yellow Brick Road”, performed by ONE OR EIGHT. Member MIZUKI shared a comment about the song:
“I am truly honored to be in charge of the ending for Black Clover, a series I have loved since its very first chapter. ‘Yellow Brick Road’ is a song that mirrors Asta and his friends challenging hardships together and pushing past their limits — and that overlaps with our own journey as ONE OR EIGHT, striving alongside our 1DERZ fans to take on the world from Japan. Keeping the words ‘Break your limits, right here, right now!!!!’ in our hearts, we want to be a group that keeps taking on challenges and moving forward toward the world.”
Three Pre-Air Special Programs
Ahead of the season premiere, three special programs will air on TV Tokyo affiliates:
- September 12, 2026 (Sat) 9:30–10:00 — “Black Clover 1st Season Digest: Part 2,” a recap of the latter half of the first season.
- September 15, 2026 (Tue) 24:06–24:36 — “Black Clover 2nd Season Pre-Air SP: Shake the World — Cut Open the Limits.” This packed special features a “Black Clover Girls’ Party” with female fans of the series, a hands-on investigative trip to Los Angeles by Asta’s voice actor Gakuto Kajiwara, and a behind-the-scenes look inside Studio Pierrot.
- September 22, 2026 (Tue/Holiday) 24:15–24:45 (also BS TV Tokyo, October 6, 2026, 24:00–24:30) — “Black Clover Pre-Air Muscle Special: Why Aren’t You Working Out?” Inspired by Asta’s powerful physique, comedian Noda Crystal of Magical Love Lovely takes on a clubbell training challenge.
