The manga is drawn by Asake Ya and adapts the original novel by Tsugi Sakuto.
Story
The story kicks off when the protagonist realizes he has been reborn as Mark Stuart, a mid-boss villain duke from a game he once knew. In the game’s scenario, Mark schemes to usurp the throne and treats his own daughter as nothing more than a pawn — a path that ends with her condemning him.
Determined to avoid that catastrophic fate, the protagonist sets about undoing every “villain move” Mark had already made before his past-life memories awakened. That means repairing his relationship with a daughter who has shut her heart after years of being used as a tool, finding a pretext to halt secret human experiments he had been conducting, and working to rebuild his reputation among those around him.
His efforts, however, produce an unexpected side effect: his daughter’s affection grows so intense that it becomes a whole new kind of danger. The series is billed as a satisfying, comedic fantasy about a mid-boss duke’s dramatic reversal of fortune.
