Kadokawa and Cover Corporation jointly announced during the livestreamed special “hololive Next 2026.9.7” on Monday that Cover’s hololive VTuber agency is launching its very first television anime project.
The project, operating under the abbreviated keyword “Odeholo,” is being produced as part of hololive’s 10th anniversary celebrations. Animation duties have been handed to Studio KAI, the studio that previously collaborated with hololive on earlier animated projects and music videos.
Cast and Upcoming Special Stream
Four cast members have already been confirmed for the project:
- Momosuzu Nene
- Omaru Polka
- Yukihana Lamy
- Shishiro Botan
All four will appear in a dedicated streamed special for “Odeholo” on September 23 at 8:00 p.m. JST (7:00 a.m. EDT), where further details about the anime are expected to be revealed.
