Fans of Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World (Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活) have a new piece of merchandise to hunt down. PlusOne and Shizuoka-based beverage maker Kimura Inryo have jointly developed “Poppin’ Cider Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World,” a line of six character-themed carbonated soft drinks now on sale in limited quantities at Don Quijote stores nationwide in Japan.
About Re:Zero
Re:Zero is a fantasy light novel series by Tappei Nagatsuki, which began serialization on the user-submission site “Shōsetsuka ni Narō” in April 2012 before receiving a print edition under the MF Bunko J label in January 2014. The story follows ordinary teenager Natsuki Subaru, who is suddenly transported to another world and must use a mysterious power — the ability to rewind time upon death — to fight back against a cruel fate. The series has surpassed 16 million copies worldwide (including digital editions). An anime 4th Season covering the “Dakkan-hen” arc, directed by Masahiro Shinohara and animated by WHITE FOX, is currently airing.
