The TV anime adaptation of Reborn as a Space Mercenary has officially announced a premiere date of October 4, with new details on its cast, staff, and theme songs unveiled during the Aniplex One Focus livestream.
Theme Songs
Rock band FLOW will perform the opening theme “Unstoppable,” while metal band ASTERISM takes on the ending theme “My Way.”

The anime is produced at Studio A-Cat under the direction of Norihiko Nagahama, known for I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills and The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army was a Human. Takamitsu Kōno (Absolute Duo, Highspeed Étoile, The Beginning After The End) is handling series scripts, while Masami Sueoka (The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army was a Human, The Beginning After The End) is designing the characters. Jin Aketagawa serves as sound director, and Kenta Higashiohji is composing the score.
Story
When Satou Takahiro is suddenly swept out of his ordinary life and into the world of his favorite video game, he finds himself facing space battles, interstellar colonies, and the boundless dangers of outer space. Now living as “Hiro” the mercenary — complete with a tricked-out spaceship and companions by his side — he’ll tangle with space pirates, rescue damsels in distress, and dive headfirst into trouble. Hiro is determined to live his new life to the absolute fullest.
