The manga Watakushi, Makemasen no de. Seiryaku Kekkon wa Reijou no Tashinami (わたくし、負けませんので。 政略結婚は令嬢のたしなみ) launched its first volume on September 17, published by KADOKAWA. The series is a manga adaptation of the original novel by Nisanka Ichi, drawn by manga artist Shinjo Ichi.
Story
The story centers on two young noblewomen who are childhood friends — and fierce rivals. Annamaria, known as the “Black Magic Lady,” and Rosaria, the “Silver Knight Lady,” can barely stand to be in the same room without arguing. Their rivalry takes a new turn when both encounter Jeremia, a regional lord rumored to be searching for a bride.
Annamaria, harboring her own ambitions, moves to get close to Jeremia — only to find Rosaria already there. Even if it means an arranged political marriage, neither woman is willing to lose. The series follows their spirited “marriage proposal battle” as both compete for Jeremia’s hand.
