The official website for the television anime adaptation of Yukino Sonoyama‘s Bless manga unveiled two additional cast members through a new character promotional video. Yoshino Aoyama will voice Oroka Sumeragi, while Momoka Terasawa will voice Shitataka Sumeragi.

The anime is being produced at A-1 Pictures under the direction of Shōtarō Kitamura (Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!), with Takayuki Kikuchi (Solo Leveling, Kaguya-sama: Love is War) serving as assistant director. Fukurou Kamiza (Non Non Biyori Nonstop) is handling series composition.
Honoka Yokoyama (Oshi no Ko Season 2, Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence) is serving as both character designer and chief animation director, alongside Tetsuya Kawakami (A Certain Magical Index, Sword Art Online) and Reina Iwasaki (VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral after Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream) as additional chief animation directors. Ryō Yoshimata (Somali and the Forest Spirit, After the Rain) is composing the score.

About the Manga
The story follows Aia, a girl told she was born to be a model, and Jun, who was bullied over her freckles. Together, they push back against a world that prizes natural talent over hard work, while the series poses sharp questions about what beauty truly means. Sonoyama launched the manga in Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine Edge in 2022; it now runs in Monthly Shonen Sirius. The series has surpassed 1.25 million copies in circulation, with the ninth volume due on October 8.
Kodansha USA Publishing released the seventh English volume on February 10 and also distributes the series digitally via its K MANGA service. Additionally, a live-action adaptation is in the works, set to stream exclusively worldwide on Amazon Prime Video in spring 2027.
