Volume 1 of 「父さんは【剣聖】、母さんは【剣神】、僕は【おち〇ぽチャンバラマスター】」 — an ecchi fantasy manga drawn by Kuroki Wataru and based on a novel by Matsuba Matsu — went on sale on September 25, 2026, published by Akita Shoten.
Story
The protagonist, Regulus, is a boy born into a prestigious family of swordsmen: his father holds the title of Kensei (Sword Saint) and his mother holds the title of Kenshin (Sword God). When the time comes for Regulus to receive his own job class, however, he is bestowed with the utterly unheard-of title of “おち〇ぽチャンバラマスター,” prompting his father to immediately disown him.
Regulus soon learns, however, that his bizarre job is actually a legendary one — historically passed down alongside the Seven-Star Swords (七星剣). He sets off on an adventure accompanied by Mimosa, an assassin maid, and Atria, a childhood friend who is a holy maiden.
Background
The series is a manga adaptation of Matsuba Matsu’s novel, which won a prize in the Young Champion Editorial Joint Project Manga Original Plot + Novel Contest. The manga is currently serialized on YanChan Web (ヤンチャンWeb).
