The production team behind TV anime Dōmo, Suki na Hito ni Horegusuri wo Irairareta Majo desu. — loosely translated as Hi, I’m the Witch Who Was Asked for a Love Potion by the Person I Like — has released preview images and a synopsis for the series’ first episode.
Episode 1: “The Witch, a Broken Heart, and a Love Potion”
Titled “魔女と失恋の惚れ薬,” the premiere episode airs on October 5, 2026. It introduces Roze, known as the “Lake Witch,” who lives quietly on a small island in the middle of a lake, spending her days brewing potions. Her peaceful routine is upended when Hariju — the knight she has long harbored secret feelings for — arrives at her door. The joy of seeing him quickly turns to heartache when Roze discovers that the potion he wants is a love potion, clearly intended for someone other than her.
Cast Members to Appear at Animate Girls Festival 2026
It was also announced that Yōhei Azaue (voice of Hariju) and Hiro Shimono (voice of Tien) will appear at a stage event during Animate Girls Festival 2026 on November 8. Details on how to attend can be found on the festival’s official website.
