The production team behind the TV anime Tetsuryō! meet with Tetsudō Musume has released a batch of preview stills from the first episode. Alongside this, a manga spin-off (comicalize) focusing on the series’ “railway gourmet” theme has been announced, with TALI handling the artwork. The manga will be published on a rolling basis after each episode airs.
About the Series
Tetsuryō! meet with Tetsudō Musume is an original anime born from Tomytec‘s character franchise Tetsudō Musume. It follows four female university students who are passionate train-travel enthusiasts — Sata Misaki, Orihara Kodama, Yagami Ushio, and Harutachi Usa — members of the “Tetsuryō-kai” club, as they take a laid-back journey through a world where the Tetsudō Musume characters work.
Episode 1 Highlights
The first episode centers on protagonist Misaki, who until now had no particular passion in life. Upon entering university, she resolves to try something new and heads to a club orientation fair. The preview stills show Misaki delighted after getting her hands on a strap from Seibu Yanagisawa station, Kodama speaking passionately about her love of trains, and Ushio staring blankly at her laptop screen.
Pre-Broadcast Screening Event
On October 3, a free-admission advance screening of Episode 1 and a cast talk show will be held at Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Akiba in Tokyo. The schedule is as follows:
- Session 1: Episode 1 screening 13:00–13:30 / Cast talk 13:30–14:00
- Session 2: Cast talk 15:00–15:30 / Episode 1 screening 15:30–16:00
Appearing on stage: Shoji Mao (Kodama), Fukushima Haruna (Ushio), and Anzai Yukari (Nishiura Arisa).
Broadcast Information
The anime premieres on TOKYO MX and BS Fuji on October 8, 2026, airing every Thursday at 24:00–24:30.
