The TV anime Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen (夜桜さんちの大作戦) has revealed preview cuts and a synopsis for episode 40, the opening episode of Season 2 Part 2 (2nd cour). The series is based on the manga by Hitsujи Gonpei, published by Shueisha under the Jump Comics label.
Episode 40 Synopsis: “Family Restaurant Father-Son Talk”
Episode 40, titled 「ファミレス父子会談」 (“Family Restaurant Father-Son Talk”), reveals that the string of incidents involving past heads of the Yozakura clan was all part of a scheme by Momo to resurrect his beloved wife, Rei. After whispering his twisted declaration of family love in front of Mutsumi and the others, Momo vanishes without a trace.
Meanwhile, eldest son Kyoichiro, having been saved by Taiyo‘s “Banka Ryoran” ability, returns home to an emotional reunion with his siblings. The moment is short-lived, however — to teach Kyoichiro a lesson for trying to sacrifice himself to protect the family, he is made to perform “family service” duty. Waiting for him is a barrage of merciless requests from his younger brothers and sisters.
