STRICT-G has unveiled a new merchandise collection based on Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM, featuring embroidered tote bags and keychains themed around two of the film’s central characters: Kira Yamato and Shin Asuka. The items are available through Premium Bandai.
About the Gundam SEED Series
The Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series is set in the Cosmic Era (C.E.), a future where two branches of humanity — the genetically engineered Coordinators and the naturally born Naturals — coexist in conflict. The original series launched in 2002, followed by Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY as its sequel. Most recently, the theatrical film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM opened on January 26, 2024, going on to become the highest-grossing theatrical release in the entire Gundam franchise.
Embroidered Tote Bags
Each tote bag is designed around one of the two characters. The handles are printed with the film’s title, the front features an embroidered patch styled after the COMPASS uniform, and the back displays the character’s name — bringing the world of the film to life in wearable form.
