โลโก้และภาพประกาศของ Plott สำหรับการเข้าสู่ธุรกิจAnimeทีวีภาคพื้นดิน

Plott, the production company best known for YouTube short anime series such as Teikou Penguin and Konketsu no Karekore, has officially announced its entry into the broadcast television anime market. The company plans to roll out three titles sequentially beginning in 2027.

From YouTube to Broadcast TV

In addition to the two flagship titles, Plott’s short-anime IP portfolio includes Zenryoku Kaihi Flag-chan! and Shiritsu Para no Maru Koukou, and the company operates multiple anime channels on YouTube. Its channels have amassed a combined subscriber count of 14 million and a cumulative view count exceeding 24 billion. In August, global monthly views hit a record high of 100 million, reflecting the studio’s growing fanbase both domestically and overseas.

A New Challenge for Plott

The move into broadcast television represents Plott’s ambition to expand its digitally-native short-anime IPs onto a mass-media platform. The company intends to handle the entire pipeline in-house — from planning and producing the anime to licensing and merchandise development.

CEO Comment

Plott’s short anime started from a single video and has now grown to 900 million views per month and 24 billion cumulative views, reaching audiences around the world. I feel every day that our works have become part of many people’s daily lives. There is no reason to limit the places where we deliver our content. We will take the know-how and IPs we have built on YouTube and expand them on the stage of broadcast television, together with those who have long driven the entertainment industry. We ourselves are looking forward to seeing how beloved the works born from Plott can become through broadcast TV. Please look forward to the three titles launching in 2027.

— Okuno Shota, Representative Director, Plott
