Fans of Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) have a new opportunity to pick up merchandise that was previously exclusive to physical Aniplex Official Store locations in Kyoto, Shibuya, and Osaka. The items are now available for post-event pre-order through Aniplex Online, the brand’s direct-operated select shop, for a limited time until October 18, 2026.
About Kimetsu no Yaiba
Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, published by Shueisha under the Jump Comics label. The series ran for 23 volumes and has surpassed a cumulative print run of 220 million copies. The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy whose family is slaughtered by demons, as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps in a bid to restore his demon-turned sister Nezuko to human form. The series is beloved for its intense swordfighting, memorable characters, and moments of heartfelt comedy.
Animation is produced by ufotable, with the franchise launching in April 2019 with Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc. The theatrical trilogy Gekijouban Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Jou-hen is currently underway; its first chapter, Akaza Raikou, opened in July 2025 and over its 266-day theatrical run attracted 27.45 million admissions and grossed approximately 40.2 billion yen, making it the second-highest-grossing film of all time in Japan, behind only the previous Mugen Train film.
