Animate Girls Festival 2026 (AGF2026), Ikebukuro’s massive event celebrating all things anime, manga, voice acting, and cosplay, is set to run on 7–8 November 2026 at Sunshine City, Ikebukuro, and surrounding venues. At the event, the YTE booth will offer an exclusive early sale of brand-new merchandise from the anime My Hero Academia, centred on a freshly illustrated visual series titled “Kachínuke! Game Battle” (Win the Game Battle).
About My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia is based on the hero-action manga by Kōhei Horikoshi, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump for over a decade and has surpassed 100 million copies in worldwide circulation. Set in a world where roughly 80% of the population possesses a superhuman ability called a “Quirk,” the series follows Izuku Midoriya (Deku) and his classmates as they train at UA High School to become professional heroes. The anime aired from April 2016 through its FINAL SEASON in 2025, spanning 8 seasons and 170 episodes, alongside 4 theatrical films. April 2026 marked the launch of the 10th-anniversary project, My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary.
“Win the Game Battle” Merchandise Series
The new goods feature original illustrations depicting the characters diving into a game-battle scenario with energy and flair. Items in the line-up include:

A separate sub-line uses pixel-art (dot-art) deformed illustrations that give the characters a retro-game aesthetic, as if they’ve leapt straight off a classic game screen. These items include:

Every item in the series covers all six characters: Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, Eijiro Kirishima, Denki Kaminari, and Hitoshi Shinso.

Bonus Postcards & Extended Sales
Shoppers who spend ¥2,000 (tax included) or more on a single series at either the AGF2026 venue or participating Animate stores will receive one random bonus postcard for that series. Note that spending on different series cannot be combined, and postcards are available only while supplies last.
Fans who can’t make it to the main event can still pick up the goods during “AGF2026 YTE出張所 in animate”, held at Animate stores nationwide from 28 November to 20 December 2026.
