A collaboration between the iconic real-robot anime Armored Trooper VOTOMS (装甲騎兵ボトムズ) and renowned Japanese denim brand EDWIN has been announced. The Armored Trooper VOTOMS × EDWIN Collaboration Jeans “Red Shoulder Custom Design” opened for pre-orders on October 9, 2026.
About Armored Trooper VOTOMS
Directed by Ryōsuke Takahashi and produced by Sunrise, VOTOMS first aired in 1983 and has since spawned numerous OVA follow-ups. The series is also celebrating a major milestone: a brand-new theatrical film, Armored Trooper VOTOMS: Hexe (灰色の魔女), produced as part of Sunrise’s 50th anniversary, is set to open nationwide in Japan on November 20, 2026.
Design Details
Created in full collaboration with EDWIN, the jeans are designed to evoke the gritty world of VOTOMS. The base fabric is a deep green denim treated with stone-washing for an aged look, further enhanced with distressing and black oil-stain-like markings inspired by the series’ iconic mech, the Scopedog.
- The rear pockets feature printed markings referencing the elite Red Shoulder unit.
- The leather patch is dyed a deep red to evoke the left shoulder of the Scopedog.
- Deep green accents also appear on the pocket lining, buttonhole stitching, and outer leg seams.
The cut is a loose straight silhouette, available in sizes 27 through 34 inches and 36 inches. The jeans are made in Japan from 100% cotton with a genuine cowhide leather patch.

The jeans are priced at ¥39,600 (tax included). Every order comes with a special A4 clear file featuring newly drawn artwork of the “EDWIN Collab Red Shoulder Custom” by legendary mecha designer Kunio Okawara.

Pre-orders are open from October 9, 2026 at 12:00 noon through November 30, 2026 at 23:59 via A-on STORE and the Sunrise Store on Premium Bandai. Shipping is scheduled for late March 2027.

The actual product will also be on display at the event 「装甲騎兵ボトムズ総合模型演習2026」, held on the 7th floor of Marui Kita-Senju in Tokyo from October 9 to November 8, 2026.
