The TV anime Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita II has announced that voice actress Izawa Shiori is joining the cast as Stefan, a new character making his appearance this season.
Who Is Stefan?
Stefan is a Wraith — an undead spirit familiar belonging to Jean Douby. Despite being an Undead himself, he allowed a “Corpse-Eater” (死霊喰らい) to consume him in order to take over its body from within. Fearsome title aside, Stefan is described as an endearing character who adores his master wholeheartedly.
Izawa Shiori shared the following comment:
“Stefan has the title ‘Corpse-Eater,’ which sounds pretty scary at first glance, but he’s actually an incredibly cute character who absolutely loves his master Jean. As someone who has a soft spot for master-servant relationships, I was absolutely thrilled to get this role. There’s a touch of bittersweetness to his story, and I put great care into performing his smile so that it would really hit home for everyone watching.”
Episode 3 Synopsis: “The Undead Was Totally Stiff”
Episode 3, titled “Undead wa Gagigagi deshita” (“The Undead Was Totally Stiff”), follows Shisho (Master) and Fran on the ninth underground floor, where they come face to face once again with a fateful Skeleton Knight. Outmatched by the powerful foe, the pair struggles through the battle — and while they manage to locate the position of the enemy’s core magic stone, things are far from over.
