Fans of STEINS;GATE have a new addition to look forward to: figure brand Solarain has unveiled a 1/7 scale finished figure of Makise Kurisu in a Racing Ver. outfit, now open for pre-order on major hobby retailer Amiami. The figure is priced at ¥30,800 (tax included) and is scheduled for release in September 2027.
About STEINS;GATE
STEINS;GATE is the second entry in the Science Adventure game series conceived and written by Chiyomaru Shikura, originally released in October 2009. The franchise went on to spawn a beloved TV anime adaptation, the spin-off STEINS;GATE: Hiyoku Renri no Darling, and the sequel STEINS;GATE 0, all of which made a significant impact on fans worldwide.
Figure Highlights
Solarain, a brand built around the concept of “fusing 2D and 3D — eliminating the boundary between flat illustration and sculpture”, has crafted Kurisu in a dynamic racing-girl pose, checkered flag in hand. Her slender figure, flowing chestnut hair, and confident expression are all faithfully rendered, making for a striking display piece.
A standout detail for series fans is the metal “Upa” charm affixed to the tip of the racing flag — a nod to the iconic in-universe mascot. The figure’s hot pants and black tights further accentuate her proportions, while the subtle detail of the leg ring adds a layer of realism that collectors will appreciate.
