Japanese fashion brand MAYLA — known for its tagline “raise your body temperature by 2°C” — has announced a new collaboration collection: the TV Anime Katekyo Hitman REBORN! Iconic Ear Object series. The lineup comprises five designs, each inspired by a key character from the beloved anime, and is currently available for pre-order.
About Katekyo Hitman REBORN!
Katekyo Hitman REBORN! is a TV anime adapted from the manga by Akira Amano, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2004 to 2012. The story follows Tsunayoshi Sawada — nicknamed “Tsuna” — an ordinary, hapless middle schooler who is taken under the wing of Reborn, a mysterious infant hitman-turned-tutor, and trained to become the tenth-generation boss of the Italian Mafia family, the Vongola. With the series marking its 20th anniversary in October 2026, a wide range of special projects have been announced under the banner of the 20th Anniversary Year.
Five Characters, Five Designs
Each ear object captures its respective character through distinctive motifs, color palettes, and name-related details. The accompanying ear cuffs are modeled after the iconic New Vongola Ring.
- Reborn & Tsunayoshi Sawada [BLOR] — Features a pacifier (おしゃぶり) motif, one of Reborn’s most recognizable symbols.
- Hayato Gokudera [RD] — Incorporates a chain design inspired by the necklace Gokudera habitually wears.
- Takeshi Yamamoto [BL] — Adorned with three small blades referencing the weapons associated with his Rain-attribute companion.
- Kyoya Hibari [PP] — Defined by a silhouette evoking his billowing gakuran (school uniform jacket).
- Mukuro Rokudo [NV] — Conceals the number “69” within the design, a nod to the Japanese wordplay on the kanji “骸” (mukuro).
Pricing and Pre-Order Window
Each Iconic Ear Object is priced at ¥20,900 (tax included), with a separate shipping fee of ¥600 (conditions may vary). Pre-orders opened on October 19, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. JST and will close on November 19, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. JST. Full details are available on the MAYLA product page.
