It has been officially announced that Shiba-tsuki Bukken (シバつき物件), the manga by Esu Omori currently serialized in Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+, will receive a TV anime adaptation scheduled to air in summer 2027. The announcement was accompanied by a commemorative illustration, a teaser PV, character visuals, and cast information.
Story
Described as a “wachamofufu heartful comedy,” the series follows Hyō Momose, who moves into a brand-new, fully equipped 1LDK apartment — only to discover that it comes with a catch: Muu, a Shiba Inu who exists as a location-bound spirit (地縛霊), already calls the place home. The teaser PV shows Hyō searching for a new apartment and coming face-to-face with a grumpy-looking Muu.

Voice actress Niinatsу Nakabayashi, who plays Hyō Momose, said she first encountered the work through the audition process and was immediately charmed by Muu and the other characters.
