The first volume of Gozen 0-ji, Tokenai Mahou wo Watashi ni Kakete! (午前0時、解けない魔法を私にかけて！) went on sale today, November 8, published by Overlap under its Gardo Comics f imprint. The manga is based on an original story by Hishou Kotatsu, with art by Itoki Jun.

Story

The series is set in a world where “makeup magic” can transform any girl into a beauty — with one catch: the spell always breaks at the stroke of midnight. Protagonist Riju is a self-described ordinary girl who adores makeup magic precisely because it lets her feel beautiful. Her greatest wish is to find a spell that will last until morning.

That wish takes an unexpected turn when a makeup mage named Diren casts a spell on her — and it simply doesn’t break after midnight. Riju is stunned, and Diren himself has no explanation for why his magic behaved differently. The two set off together to unravel the mystery behind this miraculous, unbreakable spell.

The series is described as a Cinderella fantasy built around the pursuit of that one impossible, everlasting magic.
